Types of Visas Available

Sponsored Work

This would require that you have a business that is willing to support your application, and usually your occupation would be on the skilled occupation list. This option would be a Subclass 482, 400, 494 or 186. The best option depends on you.

Option 1

Individual Skilled

You won’t require an employer sponsor for this, but you will be required to obtain a skills assessment and score as many points as possible on a points test. The options available here are the Subclass 491, 494, 189 or 190. The best option depends on you.

Option 2

Working Holiday or Student

If you are under 30, from an eligible country and you are looking to work in Australia, you may have access to the Subclass 417 or 462. Alternatively, if you are considering study, the Subclass 500 visa is best for you, with an option to move to a Subclass 485.

How long will it take for me to get to Australia?

Good question! Without being too vague, every visa has different requirements and time periods. But, for a temporary visa you would usually wait about 3 months, for a permanent visa this could increase up to 12 months.
